We are now seeking a Finance & Administration Officer to join our Coffs Harbour team. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position (38 hours per week) reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and brings a positive, can‑do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Finance
Full end‑to‑end bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
End‑to‑end weekly payroll processing
Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain compliance with BAS, taxation, superannuation, and payroll obligations
Support end‑of‑month processes, including journals and reconciliations
Perform data entry across various company systems and contribute to internal and external reporting
Support audit requirements and sample documentation requests
Administration
Provide front office reception services including phone and visitor management
Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings
Facilities management administration
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and coordinate facility maintenance
Assist with general administrative duties and ad‑hoc tasks as needed
About You
You will bring:
Previous experience in a similar finance/administration role
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, and experience using MYOB for AP/AR
Experience with payroll processing and sound knowledge of payroll compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High accuracy in data entry with strong attention to detail
A proactive, reliable work ethic and the ability to prioritise effectively
A professional, customer-focused approach
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
