The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle mechanics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</p><br2><h6>Benefits</h6><ul><li>Competitive salary with superannuation based on experience.</li><li>Opportunities for career development and ongoing training.</li><li>Discounts on services and products for employees.</li><li>A collaborative, team-focused workplace that prioritizes work-life balance.</li><li>Permanent, full-time role within a well-established, family-run company.</li></ul><br2><h6>Task & Responsibilities</h6><ul><li>Oversee all aspects of on-site vehicle mechanic services, including testing, modifying, and repairing engines and mechanical systems.</li><li>Diagnose and repair petrol engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and brakes.</li><li>Repair motor subassemblies, including clutches, brakes, and transmissions.</li><li>Disassemble engines to inspect and replace faulty components, then reassemble accurately.</li><li>Disassemble sub-assembly units, inspecting alignment and condition using gauges.</li><li>Use diagnostic scanners to identify and resolve OBD system fault codes, program modules, and recalibrate systems as needed.</li><li>Replace defective parts using hand tools, hydraulic presses, and power tools.</li><li>Perform tire-related duties, such as pressure checks, mounting, and balancing.</li><li>Replace or repair body components, including panels, bumpers, and headlights.</li><li>Interact with automotive software for diagnostics, repair tracking, and customer reporting.</li></ul><br2><h6>Qualification & Experience</h6><ul><li>Minimum of one years of experience as a Motor Mechanic or similar role.</li><li>Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent.</li><li>Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, automotive software, and various power tools.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.</li><li>Valid driver’s license preferred.</li></ul>
