About Us

At Harbour at Home, we don’t see our roles as a job, but as a career that can bring a purpose in life through the work that we do.

We are a local family business, supporting residents of Coffs Harbour and the surrounding area for the past 30 years. We have proven ourselves to be not only one of the largest Home Care services in the region, but one of the largest employers in the local area.

We pride ourselves on our organizational values which support our staff to be the best they can be.

We are one of the only services in the area to facilitate a monthly, fully paid 2-hour staff meeting. This meeting provides an opportunity for connection, support, and training.

We provide access to the mandatory competencies such as CPR training and manual handling training every year at no cost to the employee.

About The Role

This is an opportunity to kick start your career in community care with a local provider that holds strong ties to the Coffs Harbour community.

We have shifts available in: Toormina, Boambee, Sawtell, Urunga, Bellingen, Sapphire Beach, Red Rock, Woolgoolga and surrounding areas.

Our Domestic Assistants provide essential cleaning services to our aged clients living in the community, maintaining and enhancing their homes and standard of living, and reducing health and safety risks.

You will support our clients in a range of services to ensure they can continue to live the life they choose in their local community.

  • Perform household tasks to support clients’ independent living, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, making beds, changing linen, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens and handling laundry (hanging, folding, ironing)
