About the Role:

Looking to find a support worker,
Worker r with good mental health experience
Good organisational skills (a key part is to help her be organised with appointments, ART documentation and follow up on actions needed)
Proactive and takes initiative. A key issue is that Diane is always having to direct people, and she really needs people to “read the room”, support her when she is struggling, and take initiative.
Help planning activities out of the house (so sourcing events, planning for joy)
Staff need to be well trained and understanding of disability work, and confident in supporting people who are having a difficult time coping.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
-Social and community access: Helping clients engage in meaningful activities within their community.
-In-home support: Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, and more.
-Personal care and daily living: Providing support with hygiene, grooming, and other personal care activities.
-Transportation: Assisting clients with transportation to appointments, social activities, and events.
-High-care support: Delivering compassionate care to clients with complex and high-care disability needs.
Key Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Adherence to organisational policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current First Aid & CPR certification.
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
