About the Role: As a Disability Support Worker, you will work alongside a dedicated team and your Accommodation Manager to provide personalized support to our amazing participants. We focus on Active and Person-Centered Support, understanding that each individual has unique needs.

In this role, you will receive comprehensive training in each participant’s support plans, enabling you to deliver the highest quality of service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assistance with personal care and high-intensity needs

• Manual handling, medication administration 

• Supporting access to community outings and appointments

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check available from Service NSW

• Current Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid

• Current Driver’s License

• Insured and Registered Vehicle to transport participants as required

• Commitment to Active and Person-Centered Support

• Availability to work a range of shifts in a teamwork environment

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

• Previous experience working in Disability Support, including high intensity will be well regarded but not essential

• Reliable and caring

• People with lived experience supporting people with a disability are also encouraged to apply

• Ability to work across a variety of shifts and rosters
