Family Preservation Team Leader - Identified position - Grafton

An opportunity exits to join Abcare as a Team Leader in Family Preservation (FP) in the Grafton office. The key responsibilities of the role are to supervise and lead a team of FP case workers to a high standard and to provide quality outcomes for Aboriginal families who face removal of their children unless they address identified safety concerns.  

The Family Preservation Team Leader will provide support and guide the family preservation team on a daily basis, in addition to developing relationships with all other members of the Abcare team, the children, young people, birth families and relevant NSW Community Services child protection teams and external stakeholders.

The position is 38 hours per week that requires the ability to work independently whilst meeting prescribed health and activity outcomes.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Working with Children Clearance and be subject to National Police Check and will have previous management experience.
