Bellingen Burrows Long Day Care Centre is seeking passionate and dedicated Diploma Qualified Educators to join our team.

 educational program aims to nurture a lifelong love of learning for children aged 18 months and up.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Embedding the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to guide and inspire your practice

  • Planning, implementing, and reflecting on engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences

  • Following and upholding our Child Safe Code of Conduct

  • Observing, assessing, and documenting children’s learning and development

  • Building strong, respectful partnerships with families and valuing each child’s unique background

  • Maintaining accurate and compliant documentation and records

  • Participating in ongoing professional development, training, and team meetings

  • Supporting an inclusive environment that celebrates and accommodates diverse needs

  • Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently met

You Will Need:

  • Australian working rights

  • A current NSW Working with Children Check

  • A completed ACECQA-recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

    • Applicants working towards their Diploma will also be considered

  • Completed Child Protection Training and understanding of child safe practices

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates

  • Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and National Regulations (2011)

  • Sound understanding of the EYLF
