Cook / Café All-Rounder

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Cook / Café All-Rounder to join our friendly team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and is passionate about providing great food and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and light café menu items.

Assist with food preparation and presentation.

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.

Serve customers and provide friendly, professional service.

Operate the coffee machine (training can be provided for the right applicant).

Handle cash and process EFTPOS transactions.

Wash dishes and assist with general cleaning duties.

Help with stock rotation, ordering, and receiving deliveries.

Support other team members as required across all areas of the café.

Skills & Experience

Previous café, hospitality, or cooking experience preferred.

Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Food Safety Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain).
