About the role

Exciting opportunity to join the team at Keith Logue and Sons' as a Funeral Industry professional. In this full-time role based in Coffs Harbour NSW 2450, you will be an integral part of assisting with the planning and delivery of compassionate and professional funeral services.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaising with bereaved families to understand their needs and preferences and guide them through the funeral planning process

2. Coordinating all aspects of funeral arrangements, including transportation, venue bookings, and coordination with external service providers

3. A current full driver's licence is required for transportation duties

4. Preparing and maintaining documentation related to funeral services

5. Ensuring the respectful and dignified handling of the deceased

6. Providing emotional support and guidance to families during this difficult time

7. Maintaining the funeral home facilities and equipment to high standards

What we're looking for

1. Experience in the funeral industry desirable but not essential

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathise and provide compassionate support to grieving families

3. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills to coordinate complex funeral arrangements

4. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and respect

5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team

6. An understanding of the importance of high quality customer service

7. Must be strong and physically fit with no prior injuries as heavy lifting is required

8. Ability to work after hours including weekend and night rosters therefore living in close proximity to Coffs Harbour
